Wordpress?

I've stumbled upon a marvellous website recently, which is neatly layouted and also animated. On a closer look; they are using WordPress, apparently along with:

  • Avia Framework (A layouting / layout component toolkit? It's obviously hard to find a link to a directly related site - maybe it's only part of theme packs?)
  • Enfold theme.

Hi, let's see if I'll take a closer look on this whole WordPress thing?

In the meantime I had the opportunity to create some WordPress sites - the company website of my (now already former) employer and some more modest stuff for an organization of non-profit private schools.

I was impressed by several features of the WordPress universe - the more or less reliable ability to automagically update the system software is one of them, the other's are related to the large amount and partly good quality of add-on modules and themes. I've enjoyed using layout and design tools like Visual Composer; and I've been deeply impressed by the "Flash-like" slider editor Revolution Slider.
