2015 Wrap-Up
2015 was a rather eventful year, for my standards at least. There was another impressive concert with The Melodetts, featuring a quartet three + me singers performing "Caravan of Love", which was of course especially thrilling for the four of us. I've also produced an audio recording of the event; and part of it has been published for the first time: "Innsbruck, ich muss dich lassen". The impressive slideshow was created by stage hog Volker Schütte, kudos!
2015 has also been my year of MOOC participation - Bootstrap, Introduction to Linux, 3D Graphics, Cloud Computing, Digital Audio Processing, Learn how to learn...
Aside from those serious aspects, I've picked up a favorite YouTube show - for the first time ever, I think. Coming via extended BuzzFeed addiction, I've stumbled upon "Just Between Us", and I love what they do! Gaby Dunn also makes serious efforts to make authenticity / vlogging / community-based shows transparent to the next level - being open about monetarization and the general idea of success as a YouTuber (e.g. any kind of "new media" star?).
I've listened a lot to Scala music; and I've finally attended a concert of them, Nov 28, "Unendlich Tour". Was quite a blast, including all the "party hits" like Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, Wide Awake, I Fail ...
